Fresh off the new music party at the Annex Live last night, the Toy Piano Composers are feeling overwhelmed with gratitude and love and all warm, fuzzy feelings towards our supporters. What a fantastic night! We had Wesley Shen perform some solo toy piano, cross legged on the stage floor, spinning Yann Tiersen-esque improvisations and some of Wesley's own toy piano compositions. Later on, we had junctQin entertain us with a piano duet + toy piano arrangment of Bach Bist Du Bei Mir, which I am sure will be the new top-requested wedding processional. They followed with a tag-team version of John Cage's Suite for Toy Piano, and then Karlheinz Essl's Kalimba (now a classic in toy piano repertory). They finished with some two toy piano arrangement of a Phillip Glass work, which was a fitting promo for their concert on December 11th entitlted "Bach to Glass(es)" at Hart House. To cap off the night, we had Victor Cheng playing some excellent jazz piano - a suitable closing to a very fun-filled evening.

We would like to thank the people/organizations who donated to our silent auction, which helped us raise a substantial sum of money.
